17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And he opened the book, and found the place where it was written,
Luke 4:17 ASV
I need you to know there was some occurrence that happened in the life of Jesus before this particular verse. A fasted forty days and forty nights (Luke 4:1), was tempted on the devil (Luke 4:2-13) and lastly he returned full of power and his fame spread (Luke 4:14-15). Lastly Jesus was handed a book by the attendant in the synagogue at Nazareth (Luke 4:16). Then the most wonderful thing is that he found something special, he found the place where his destiny has been written in the letters (Luke 4:17, 21).
You need to know to become anointed and powerful, you will face temptations. To overcome temptations you need to fast and pray. Fasting and prayer increase the rate at which we belief in God.
We learnt from the life of Jesus that fame and power is not everything because for everyone there is a place and until your find you place you will continue to be insatiable and irrelevant.
The moment Jesus found his place, men began to say is not this the son of Joseph the carpenter.
The good news I brought from God is that very soon you will find your place. That place where you will become relevant, useful and you will acquire speed is locating you from this moment henceforth in Jesus name.
Don’t let your background limit you because you, even though the ground is bad and it is soiled, your back will not touch the ground because instead or walking you will running and for those running you will fly and for those already flying you will soar like eager [excel without must effort].
