Let no one deceive you, when God allow a man leave his father and mother and unite to the wife, the two become on flesh. God has joined you to be inseparable.
What God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate).
Matthew 19:4-6 KJV.

Romans 7:2-3 For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.

God hates divorce Malachi 2:16

The man or woman that is married should not get divorced and if they are divorced and both still alive, then they should not get married to another man or woman.
Only when one of them dies, then they are free to get married again, but then if they are believers then they need to get married to another believer.
1 Corinthians 7:10-11, 39
Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from
her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife.

A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord.
If A man or woman have divorced each other then their is a good reason why they should not get married to another man or woman;

Scenario When Divorce Is Allowed

After the husband or the wife got divorced,  they stayed away from each other for some years and then something good started to happen in their heart.
The husband or the wife begins to live in complete obedience towards the Lord, and wants to go make right where he or she has done wrong towards each other, and wants to get remarried to the one they got divorced from.
If one of them did get married again after being divorced, then imagine how heartbroken it can be for the one that wanted to get remarried again, to find out that He or she can not get married anymore to the one he or she divorced.
If something like that has happened, then it looks like the one who is not married can get married again, because God don’t want that couple who got married to divorce.

Divorce Leads To Sin

If you divorce someone you are an agent of darkness to tempt  your partner to stumble and sin, by getting married to someone else while you are still alive. How horrible will it be for you the last day? it would be better for you if a huge millstone were hung about your neck, and you were thrown into the sea.
Mark 9:42.
Advice
If someone divorces you. Do not fall into the temptation and end up spending eternity in hell. For without exception the lake of fire is for all living in adulatory.
1Cor.6:9. Be patient with the one that seek for divorce, believing God to answer your prayer to bring him or her to his or her senses.
I know many of some of my spiritual children that persevered for long and were reconciled and I know two of my spiritual children that their wives divorced them, and they did not fall into the high temptation to remarry, but were still focused on Christ by persevering in trial, standing on his word and the two wives all died and released them to get married. Stand firm and see God fighting your battles for you.
Anyone that open up for or seek for divorce is opening up for God to strike to dead. Repent and be reconciled to your spouse before it is too late.
Do not be deceived, it is testing of your faith to see if you will endure to the end as someone abiding in his word, planted on Jesus the rock. If you fail the test you have lost Jesus and he is not in you, you were planted but on sandy ground.
I hope you have taken notes of these scriptures !!!

In conclusion

God hate divorce. He don’t want his children to get marriage and divorce later on. Marriage is for a lifetime .
