Foundation scripture: John 1: 16 (ESV)
John 1: 16 says that “For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace”.
That is the fullness of Christ we have all received Grace upon Grace.
What does his fullness really mean, it means that everything Jesus Christ has we have received it in full, that is the measure of Grace that Christ has we have it.
Let now look at the word Grace upon Grace. Grace means God divine favour towards man, that to say Grace which is God divine favour is upon God divine favour and it is now given to us in fullness, that is every bit of God divine favour is given to us. For example: you have money to buy something but the money is not enough, then someone gave you all his wealthy to add to your money and buy what you want to buy.
That what God his saying, that he has given us the fullness of his Grace. God is saying he has everything take my Grace and add to your Grace, it now belongs to you.
Grace upon Grace. The word “upon” means in contact with, that to say God’s Grace is in contact with our Grace. When something his in contact it means they are sticked together, so what happens when God’s Grace is in contact with ours? We will do exploits, we will succeed in everything you do, and you will be prosperous in everything you do.
The journey of your life is no more about you alone it is now about you and God. So whatever challenge you face, God is facing it with you, you and God are together in everything you do. So don’t worry just trust him and he will guide you.
God bless you.
