Rooted and grounded

What Does Been Rooted And Grounded Means?

The Greek word for been rooted and grounded is ἐρριζωμένοι which is been translated as rooted, firm, fixed, hard-and-fast, immutable, irradicable, set, unaltered, embedded, implanted, instilled, inborn, inherent, natural and so on.

Mysteries of Becoming Rooted and Grounded

Your revelation of whom the personality of Jesus is equal to your elevation in bearing fruits.
Revelation birth manifestation.
Manifestation birth glorification.

Paul, an apostle of the Lord, a preacher of grace spelled out by revelation what growing in faith means.

[10]That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition].

[11][We pray] that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy

Colossians 1:10-11
For a believer to grow in faith  two things just need to take place

      Having personal revelation about God

      Been strengthened in Christ

Once these two are present in a man’s life he becomes rooted and grounded in Christ.

Growth in the kingdom of not a matter of how many years you spend in it.
Growth comes by revelation and by manifestation.

Once you are rooted in Christ you cannot be uprooted
Once you are grounded in Christ you cannot be reduced by the enemies.

what is the biblical meaning of root?

Colossians 2
[7] Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.

Now that I am a Christian, now that I am born again what next?
Ask some pastors this question they will tell you to study the word, pray, fast, do vigil…….
The list continues.
All those things listed are just part of what God desires next, so what then is the next step after you are saved?
Are they what God desires to be next?

Think about this!!!

Let go back to VS 7
Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him]…
This is the next step KJV says beings rooted and grounded in Christ!!!

This sermon on rooted and grounded is power pack sermon!!!

How can be rooted in Christ?

Is this the question rolling in your heart?
The next part of VS 7 said how;

being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith..

What is the state of your faith?

Is it increasing or it unstable?

To increase your faith you need to follow, meditate on the revelation you know about Christ and not the unhealthy thing you hear about Christ.

What you know yesterday is what you are today, whatever you decide to know today is what you will be tomorrow.

Guide what goes into your heart.

If you truly want to enjoy your work with God you need new insight into his personality every day, this way your walk with God can never be boring and unfruitful.

This is a great bible study on rooted in the word and been rooted and grounded in love sermon

In the name of Jesus

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Exodus 20:7 KJV
From birth, in Sunday schools, from my teachers, from my parent whenever this scripture is mentioned what they told me was that “Do not call the name of Jesus anyhow”

If I am playing then I mistakenly call the name of Jesus I become sad immediately that I have sinned.
But when I started walking with God I receive an insight into this scripture.
Taking the name of the Lord in vain as used in the context above means do not commit evil, do not sin.

You commit adultery, you are taking God’s name in vain, you lie, you are taking God’s name in vain, you steal, you are taking God’s name in vain, you blaspheme, you are taking God’s name in vain.

Anything you do that doesn’t glorify God before men you are taking God’s name in vain.
Let see some other Bible translation of this verse

“Do not use my name for evil purposes, for I, the LORD your God, will punish anyone who misuses my name.
Exodus 20:7 GNB

Hallelujah
The Lord is angry with them that uses his name for evil every day.

WHAT THEN IS THE NAME OF THE LORD

The name of the Lord is like a strong tower; the righteous person runs to it and is set safely on high.
Proverbs 18:10 NET

The name of the Lord isn’t the letter J-E-S-U-S, it is not the letter G-O-D. The name of the Lord is the authority and power is enclosed within those letters.

This name makes everything available to you, this name has already placed everything under your feet [dominion, powers, darkness, lacks and sickness]
That’s why God placed him in the position of greatest honor and power and gave him the most prestigious name— so that in the name of Jesus everyone should bow in respect, whether in heaven or on earth or under the earth,

Philippians 2:9‭-‬10 FBV
I do think this scripture says …at the mention of the name of Jesus…

But

It says in the name, other version says at the name but I am okay with this version.
The authority and power behind or enclosed in the name of Jesus is discovered not by speaking and mentioning the name but by growing and tarrying in the name.
We will continue here in the next series.

Authority and power are not gotten by just mentioning or speaking the name alone but by tarrying and growing in the name of Jesus.

Philippians 3

[8]Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake, I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One),

Paul realizes that a knowledge unraveled is means the solution to your problems revealed.
The devil will not fight against you, your success, your power to cast out demons, you God-given authority to perform signs and wonders…. No, he won’t fight against all that

2 Corinthians 4
[4]For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.

He blinds the mind, your thoughts from seeing the truth, the truth about what you carry inside of you, the truth about what you are, the truth about what you suppose to be experiencing.
We would continue here next teaching.

Seek the truth through prayer and study of the word.

1 Corinthians 13
[12] For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God].

Some people are of the opinion that he was talking about rapture here, No

1 Corinthians 13:10-11
[10]But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded).

[11] When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside.

He was actually saying no he has grown an inch in the knowledge of Christ, so he put off the old knowledge of the partial truth.

What of what my Pastor preaches, what my teacher teaches?
They may be full knowledge for your pastor but they are partial truth for you.
There is a truth you need for that problem to completely disappear, dig into the word of God.
You can also contact us, and we can have daily study together, feel free to tell us

Truths eradicate problems.
Truths can only be gotten yourself, other people give you a path to truth.
The knowledge of Christ cannot be gotten for you, you get it yourself

Ephesians 3
[20]Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]–

God can do more than we desire, He can do the supernatural but I know you have this question why is the supernatural not coming into reality in my life?

I know you ask why am I jobless till not after all God can do anything?

It pains my heart but I also know you ask why has my barrenness not left me since, why is this sickness still in my life, why have my wife/husband not change yet I have been praying for years, why and why and why we ask!!!

I cry as I say this, it is simply because the power in us at the moment cannot overpower the problems in us?

Your desires can only be done according to the power that works in you

Then you ask what then does this means?

You want your situation to change first something must change in you…
Stop accepting that problem, stop accommodating it.

I was speaking with a friend and he told me God said for 21 days his life would be in mess!!!
The question I ask was can God speaks evil to his children life?
Does God cause barrenness into your life?

Check out: How to overcome your challanges

    The answer is No.

God does not speak evil of you, as far as you are his son, He can’t send any evil into your life.
Any evil happening around you is a trick of the devil to defeat you, stop giving the devil victory get back what you deserve.
